Course objectives

The aim of this course is to train students so that, by applying the knowledge gained during the course, they become capable of participating in a variety of sports. With the help of the acquired motor skills, they can prepare for university sports competitions and gain the knowledge and skills that will enable them to spend their free time actively in later life, thereby developing a healthy lifestyle. Curriculum: a) Introduction, general information, requirements, the development and history of basketball, volleyball, and floorball. Familiarization with various physical education games b) Equipment knowledge c) Court knowledge d) Knowledge of the rules. e) Technical elements f) Tactical elements g) Knowledge of physical education games

Mid-term study requirements

Mid-semester academic requirements: All full-time NJE students are required to complete at least two physical education courses during their studies! 1. Requirements: - Completion of physical education courses is a prerequisite for the issuance of the final certificate (absolutorium). 2. Method of semester completion: - Physical Education I (required), Training-based sports: signature - Physical Education (elective): practical grade (2 credits) 3. Number of semesters/hours for required physical education: - Eight-semester program: two semesters / 90 minutes per session - Six-semester program: two semesters / 90 minutes per session - Four-semester program: two semesters / 90 minutes per session 4. Conditions for acceptance of the given semester: - Registration for the course during the registration period via electronic means. - At least 9 actively attended sessions per semester. - In all other cases, the provisions of the Academic and Examination Regulations shall apply. - If the student attends at least nine (9) sessions and meets the course criteria, the semester will conclude with a signature for required courses and a grade entry for credit courses. 6. Exemptions: - Exemptions are valid only for the given semester (one semester). Exemption requests must be submitted to the Sports Center along with the appropriate attachments and supporting documents. 7. Competitive Sports: - The required physical education semesters may be fulfilled through verified, regular participation in sports activities, subject to the following conditions. - Regular training for university sports competitions, certified by a university physical education instructor, in the form of unannounced specialized group sessions (for on-campus or intercollegiate tournaments and competitions such as MEFOB, the Universitas Cup, university championships, etc.: a minimum of 9 sessions per semester). - For sports activities conducted in an external sports club, a copy of the competition or game permit must be attached to the completed form (if no such permit exists for the given sport, then a photocopy of the club membership card or other document certifying active competition) and, if applicable, a match report. Only sports represented by national sports federations will be accepted. - Competitive sports acceptance levels for various sports: a. Soccer: NB I, NB II, NB III. b. Ball sports: first or second division (national). c. Individual sports: participation in first-division competitions. - Regular practice of non-sport-specific, state-registered, officially certified forms of physical activity (e.g., dance groups, folk dance) involving performances and demonstrations. – 8. Submission of applications (exemption, competitive sports): - To the director of the Sports Center in printed or electronic form, with certified attachments. - Deadline: September 15 or February 15.
