Course objectives:
The students gain experience in microcontroller-, PLC-, and robot programming, and using smart devices to get to know the devices used in Industry 4.0.
Course content - seminars:

Industrial robot programming (toolpaths, handling in-/output) PLC programming, connection technologies, wiring Industrial microcontroller programming Electronic devices that are in the industrial automation, and how to use them Smart devices in indsutrial automation and how to use them. During the course students gets insight into the Industry 4.0’s technologies and can create own project in groups, with this knowledge. The project includes planning, process management, product manufacturing.

Mid-term study requirements:
Project work: Creating a project in small groups and then presenting it on the conference organised by the university. It's required to take part in a project, and to follow the project's life cycles(starting, planning, implementation I. and II., testing, documenting) 12 points each (72 is the maximum points). On the conference the presentation and the PPT file for the presentation will be 14 points each (28 is the maximum points). The minimum for the term mark is 50% for creating the project and 50% for presenting the project.
