The aim of the laboratory exercise is for students to learn how to recycle plastic waste they have collected themselves.
Grinding and extrusion of plastic waste, injection moulding of secondary raw material samples and their qualification.
Knowledge:
Ability to apply the knowledge acquired in the subject to product and technology design in the context of the circular economy and to professionally correct preconceptions about plastics.
The student will know the main steps and basic technologies of waste management.
The student will be able to design and choose materials in an environmentally conscious way.
- In carrying out its professional tasks, it cooperates with other (primarily technical, economic and law).
- Identify gaps in the technologies used, risks in the processes and initiate measures to reduce them.
- Monitor relevant legislative, technical and regulatory developments in the field, technological and administrative changes.
Mid-term study requirements:
Participation in laboratory exercises and submission of the semester report.
