In the thesis – under the guidance of departmental (internal) and industrial (external) advisors – a practical, complex technical-economic task, detailed on the thesis task sheet, must be solved.
Knowledge:
Can apply the computational, modeling principles and methods related to mechanical product, process, and technology design.
Is able to apply the acquired IT knowledge in solving tasks arising in their field of expertise.
Is capable of applying the technical specifications related to the operation of mechanical systems, as well as the principles of setting up and operating machinery and mechanical equipment, and their economic correlations.
Is open to learning about and accepting ongoing professional and technological developments and innovations in the technical field, and reliably conveying them.
Identifies the shortcomings of applied technologies, the risks of processes, and initiates actions to mitigate these.
Mid-term study requirements:
Compiling a 15-20 page literature review on the thesis topic.
