Course content:

Acquired competences:
Knowledge:

Students will acquire the basics of CNC programming, including the principles of interpolators and two-axis path control, as well as various numerical control methods. They will become familiar with the classification of coordinate systems and their assignment to machines. They will gain detailed knowledge on the application of turning and milling cycles, drilling cycles, and transformations.

Skills:

Students will be capable of programming and operating CNC machines, with particular emphasis on two-axis path control. They will be able to correctly apply and assign coordinate systems to machines. By using turning and milling cycles, as well as drilling cycles and transformations, they will effectively optimize manufacturing processes.

Attitude:

Students are committed to precise and accurate work, and are open to learning new technologies and methods in the field of CNC programming. They willingly collaborate with their peers and actively participate in group tasks. They approach their tasks responsibly and pay great attention to adhering to safety regulations in the workshop.

Autonomy and responsibilities:

Students will be able to independently program and maintain CNC machines, as well as solve technical problems that arise. They will be responsible for correctly creating and properly applying programs. They will ensure the quality and efficiency of manufacturing processes, adhere to safety regulations, and look out for the safety of their peers in the workshop. They will seek assistance and consult on professional issues when necessary.
