Course content:

Acquired competences:
Knowledge:

Introduction to the CNC machines and related tools used during the semester, and the presentation of safety regulations related to their operation. Manufacturing sample tasks on CNC-controlled lathes with "C" axis and sub-spindle. Operation of CNC machines. Independent tool measurement and workpiece zero point setting under supervision. Modeling tasks using "RE" techniques in groups of 2-3. Presentation of tasks created parametrically. Manufacturing of parts programmed parametrically.

Skills:

Students are committed to precise and accurate work, and are open to learning new technologies and innovations in the field of CNC technology and industrial robotics. They willingly collaborate with their peers and actively participate in group projects. They approach their tasks responsibly, adhere to safety regulations, and ensure the safety of others in the workshop, striving to perform quality work.

Attitude:

Students are capable of operating CNC machines, performing technological planning, applying interpolation methods, shop-floor programming, using CAM software, and conducting parametric and macro programming.

Autonomy and responsibilities:

Students independently operate and maintain CNC machines, solve technical problems, and perform tool measurement and workpiece zero point setting. They are responsible for correctly creating and presenting parametric programs, as well as completing and presenting modeling tasks in groups. They ensure the quality and efficiency of manufacturing processes, adhere to safety regulations, and prioritize the safety of their peers in the workshop. They seek assistance and consult on professional issues when necessary.
