Course objectives

Purpose of teaching the subject The teaching of the subject draws attention to the high level of coordinated protection of the environment and its elements and processes, to ensure sustainable development. It focuses on the conservation, maintenance of natural resources and on the reasonable, economical and resource-intensive use of them. The course aims to follow the main environmental management aspirations and activities. Practical examples further improve the audience's environmental awareness in the field of agriculture.

Course content
Lectures

The knowledge to be acquired: 1. The concept of environmental management and sustainable development and its connection with spatial environments. The development of the concept of environmental management. 2. The emergence of environmental management, the most important elements and processes of environmental problems. International and domestic collaborations and conferences. 3. Changes in the institutional system of environmental management and its current situation. 4. Types and basic characterization of natural resources. Pollution and deterioration of the environment. Reasons for pollution. Human effects. The development of society. 5. The composition of air and the origin and effects of pollution. Measurement systems and information. Tendencies for changes in air pollution in Hungary and environmental management tasks and solutions. 6. Characteristics and environmental management of various forms of water origin. 7. The role of soil in environmental management. Adverse factors affecting soil processes, pollution and degradation. Soil protection and soil improvement. 8. Environmental and environmental aspects of noise and vibration, radioactive pollution, prevention and control. 9. Waste management - mainly waste from agricultural origin. 10. Characterization of the environmental state and elements of Hungary, tendencies of changes. 11. Operation and system of environmental management programs, especially in the field of agriculture. 12. Analysis of the relevant legal background. 13. Practical examples.

Knowledge

Professional competences to be acquired (knowledge, ability, attitude, autonomy and responsibilities): a) knowledge: - knows the most important relationships, theories; and the concepts in the field of the subject.. - His theoretical and practical knowledge is organized into a system. - In his work, he pays particular attention to the development of an environment that supports individuals and the health of society, and the use of health-friendly technical solutions.

b) ability - Enhances his knowledge and apply the various methods of knowledge acquisition and self-development. - Performs the basic analysis of the disciplines that make up the knowledge system of its field of expertise, synthetic formulation and adequate evaluation of the relationships. - It is also able to take environmental standards into account in the management of agricultural sectors. - Keeps track of the environmental, hygiene, food safety, nutrition and safety regulations, and keeps them and keeps them.

Requirements, evaluation and grading
Mid-term study requirements

Intermediate learning requirements: • The lectures are an integral part of the training process, so participation in the lectures is expected. One written essay on theoretical material presented in the lecture is mandatory. • During the study period, students complete a processing of certain environmental management legislation and regulations, and prepare an own task related to this. The final deadline for submitting the task is 11th week of study period. Date of written essay: The 9th week of education at the time of the lesson. Replacement / repair dates: At the 11th week of education at the time of the lesson

Exam requirements

Exam requirements: The course ends with a written colloquium. The collocation consists of answering approx. 10 questions of the themes of the subject.

In this case, the course instructor is responsible for defining where and how GAI tools may be used in assignments. The course description must specify in detail how GAI tools may be used during the course.
